Parting Shot: Today in Uganda, in the face of utter annihilation, overwhelming odds, untold danger, an entire nation of hateful, violent people, unjust laws written and sponsored with the help of millions of dollars in tithes from American Christians, the Same Gender Loving people of Uganda stood up in their truth. You no longer have any excuse to keep denying yours.

What else would you call a nation that, along with American Christians, has made a concentrated and concerted effort (and has, largely, accomplished it)—through laws, practices, customs, economics incentives, and extrajudicial means—to not only silence and invisiblize SGL Ugandans, but to DESTROY them?
The section that reads: “an entire nation of hateful, violent people” only helps to fuel the stereotype of angry, violent, and uncivilized Black people, more specifically, Black Africans. To categorize an entire nation of largely Black people as violent is completely drenched of racist white supremacy. The people of Uganda deserve more respect then that. I honestly would have expected this from a white person but, not my fellow POC. You really need to check yourself on this one.
